As a fan of intricate plots and layered storytelling, I found this book utterly captivating. The blend of science fiction, mythology, and detective noir was a delightful surprise. The MC Ace’s abilities as a Superior Echophile, a term coined by the author no doubt, felt well-conceived and added depth to the narrative. His complex relationships—especially with the women in his life Venus and Lux—were intriguing, though at times frustrating, as his moral compass seemed at odds with his emotional entanglements.

The murder mystery, with its paranormal twists and mythological references to Narasimha and Sharabha, kept me hooked. I loved how the story wove together personal stakes with a larger, almost cosmic conflict. The twists involving Hamar’s adaptive program and hybrid creation were both chilling and thought-provoking.

The pacing did lag in parts, especially during the romantic and philosophical reflections, but the climactic showdown redeemed it. Overall, it’s a unique tale that leaves you pondering humanity’s hubris and the thin line between genius and madness. Go for it.
